Starting anything new can be daunting. Our first yoga class, a writing group, a musical instrument, anything new can make us anxious. Often, there is anxiety mixed with excitement. Your first Krav Maga class might raise some doubts.
Am I athletic enough?
Am I too old (or too young)?
I have never been in a fight!
I am so out of shape!
These are some of the concerns we have heard over the years. What is fascinating is that these as you become immersed in self-defence training these concerns gradually fade. One of the more gratifying things to witness is someone who learns to become confident in themselves and their abilities.
